A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse who specializes in mental health care. PMHNPs are trained to assess, diagnose, and treat psychiatric conditions — including prescribing and managing medications — just as you'd receive from a traditional psychiatric practice. Our provider is dual-certified in psychiatric and family medicine with 30+ years of clinical experience.
How quickly can I get an appointment?

What insurance do you accept for Boston-area patients?
Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Point32 (Harvard Pilgrim / Tufts Health), OPTUM, Evernorth, Mass General Brigham Health Plan, and Medicare. We verify your specific coverage before your first appointment — no billing surprises.
Do you treat teenagers as well as adults?
Yes. Bedre Health treats patients age 13 and older across depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental health challenges. We coordinate with parents and existing providers as appropriate.
Can I get a prescription through a telehealth appointment?
Yes. Our licensed PMHNP can prescribe and manage psychiatric medications via telehealth in Massachusetts — including antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, ADHD medications, and mood stabilizers, subject to applicable regulations.
Is telehealth psychiatric care as effective as in-person care?
