Our prescribers are board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNP-BC) who evaluate, diagnose, and manage medication for ages 13 and up, and our licensed clinical social workers (LICSW) offer talk therapy for adults.
Our psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNP-BC) diagnose, treat, and prescribe by video with the same unhurried approach as an office visit. If you would rather sit in the room, our offices in Winchester and Peabody are always an option — you can switch between the two.

Prescriptions by telehealth
When medication is part of your plan, prescriptions are sent electronically to the pharmacy you choose. We prescribe conservatively: the lowest effective dose, regular check-ins on how it’s working, and help coming off a medication when you are ready. Controlled medications, such as ADHD stimulants, have extra federal and state rules — see the note below.
Telehealth prescribing of controlled medications (including ADHD stimulants): we prescribe only after an appropriate evaluation and in line with federal DEA rules and Massachusetts law. Federal telemedicine flexibilities for controlled medications are currently extended through December 31, 2026; these rules have changed several times, and we will tell patients directly if a change affects their care. Does insurance cover telehealth psychiatry?
Massachusetts requires most plans to cover telehealth on par with in-person care. We are in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Point32Health (Harvard Pilgrim / Tufts), Optum, Evernorth, Mass General Brigham (MGB) Health Plan, Medicare & Medicare Advantage (Part C), Tricare, and we verify your benefits before your first visit. We also see patients by video in New Hampshire. What matters is where you are during the visit, not where you live — if you will be outside Massachusetts or New Hampshire, let us know and we’ll reschedule.

Yes, for psychiatric evaluation and medication management starting at age 13. Talk therapy with our licensed clinical social workers is for adults only.

Both can diagnose psychiatric conditions and prescribe medication. Our prescribers are board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNP-BC) — not physicians — licensed to evaluate, diagnose, and manage psychiatric medication in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
